I’ve live in somewhere between 7-10 trailer parks. Moved another half dozen times on top of that.
Never had roots in one town. But my kids will only know roots. They’ve only known living in one house.
Enjoying a night by myself at the cabin.
- Dropping off some compost
- Hanging a few towel racks
- Replacing the worn pirate flag. It gets a nice retirement hanging on the wall of the game room. 🏴☠️
Then just going to sit here. Because this place is crazy.
I played the long game to get the lake front lot off market. I sketched the home myself. I took it to an engineering company to bring it to life.
I’m in such a great place to start appreciating this life I’ve built for myself, and the generations of Burton’s ahead that will never know all the bullshit that stopped with me.
