SEO, PPC, copywriting, emails, funnels, all of everything… It’s all dead… 🙄

Every few years a new shiny object comes along and digital marketers rush to the gold mines.

After the space gets crowded and advertising becomes overpriced, they look for what’s next.

  • 2011 Google Panda = “SEO is dead
  • 2012 Google Penguin = “SEO is dead
  • 2016 Mobilegeddon = “SEO is dead”
  • 2011 – 2020 EMD, Hummingbird, Pigeon, voice search, RankBrain = “SEO is dead” (voice still doesn’t dominate)
  • 2022 AI = “SEO is dead”

SEO is dead… again

Unless Google goes fully paid (which they never will, because it dilutes the value of trusting their results) SEO will never die.

Let’s pretend, even then… SEO still has value. PPC cost per click comes way down with improved UX, page speed, and content (SEO). Same thing happens when SEO practices are applied to funnels, email, blah, blah, blah…

Bet money I’ll still be here doing dead, profitable, scalable, predictable SEO in a few years while you’re starting over with the next shiny object.
