Today is one week with no caffeine. The tracked results in these Oura ring images are pretty profound.

Wanted to quit because I could feel the physical characteristics of caffeine anxiety pulsing inside me. Hours after the last coffee and I could still feel it, literally.

But, I like coffee.  I like the taste.  I like the ritual of having it.  Yet, the prolonged caffeine feeling kept bothering me so I stopped.

Took about 3 days to feel any difference. Then, boom, instant mental clarity.  By day 4, peak clarity, and sustained since.  Also gone most days without hitting “stressed” on the tracker. And if I do, it’s just minutes a day as opposed to hours.

The need for naps has decreased.  And, I just feel… better.  So much better.
