I charge $1000/hour for consulting. But I also find it personally rewarding helping the little guys.
So I regularly volunteer free speaking and consulting for local chamber and business workshops. Today was one of those days.
Just got back from helping a group of therapists, plumbers and drain cleaners, accountants, and one of them is an actor-turned-author with acting credits back to 1982. He gave me a copy of his book to give my kids.
That’s one of my favorite parts. The wildcard. Never know what you’ll receive unexpectedly when you give without expecting in return.
