Just had a nutjob tell me “GEO promises an end to SEO.”

Errr… where do you think AI gets its results from, and where GEO inherited 2/3 of it’s name from?

He went on to impress me with:

“Email is dead”

Uh, some of the biggest companies in the world do ONLY email. One example is Agora.

“Social Media Marketing is dead (except LinkedIn ads)”

I lol’d that “LinkedIn Ads” are the only non-dead social media advertising option.  I’m in a few high-ticket masterminds vetted by revenue and all the major players get most revenue from social media ads… none of them being LinkedIn.

“Reddit: too honest and scary”

Reddit = “too honest and scary?” Really?

I could introduce you to half a dozen people that could control the entire front page of Reddit in 48 hours.

“GEO is the Knight in Shining Armor. Its David vs Goliath. King Arthur. Robin Hood. Washington. The last JEDI. The Segway. If you believe – it will work. Its the last hope.”

Felt like I just got done praying with the guy after that last comment.

Showing up in GEO is the same fundamentals as SEO… just easier to game because they still don’t have their filters dialed in.

For SEO being dead, I’ve done more in revenue the last year than any year prior.  Only small, scared players are abandoning data for hype. Big players are going all in.
