Do everything others tell you not to

Okay, maybe not allll of it… but a lot of it…

Got thinking about this the other day when I posted that I let my kids do a lot of things that other parents wouldn’t. Continued how that’s built their self-confidence, creativity, and our relationship.

Same thing applies in business. My team crushes because I protect them, but I also trust them.

  • I want them to experiment.
  • I want them to try new things.
  • I want them to make mistakes so they can learn from them.

I want for them to make recommendations that I disagree with, still trust them to do it, and them prove me wrong.

Trusting in discomfort is how you grow.
