I posted the other day about how a hurricane wiped out the city of one of my international team members. She messaged asking for a salary advance to repair her home. Also to buy a generator, because the power outage is estimated to last months.
I said “yes,” but on one condition… That if I sent an extra couple hundred bucks that she promise to use it to buy and provide food for others. She agreed, and these pics are the love she’s about to share with others.
I was compelled to help when she told me she was grateful to be eating canned food for a few days and she felt lucky because others didn’t even have that.
- No home.
- No power.
- Grateful for canned food.
- I could help.
Just because you don’t know others doesn’t mean they’re not human or you can’t help.
