Not this kid. He jumped into design and started doing sites for free. After a year+ of experience, he’s graduating that design experience and moving into SEO.
Told him to do the same thing and give website audits for free. Message businesses he’s familiar with in his home town, do a Loom video offering advice on their site, and DON’T pitch them. Give.
That will allow him to build experience, while also getting interest from local businesses.
Not even a week later, he sent me a sample Loom. “How’d I do. Give me feedback.”
