We’ve kept a guest book ever since we built the small cabin on the left.
Because of property setbacks, we couldn’t build much bigger.Fast forward a few years and we secured the lot next to us, and just had our first friends over.
The two properties used to be one decades ago. The owner split off the left side in the 70’s to buy a gas station. He was an entrepreneur.
Five decades later, few strategic relationships and gestures, two transactions across ten years, and an entrepreneur brought them back together.
We now have a half acre and $2,000,000 in lakefront property. $3,000,000 if we knock down the small cabin and build up.
Everything I’ve accomplished in business and personal has come from playing the long game. Never underestimate the slow play.
