Client left, then came back.
This client canceled about a year ago.
This one wasn’t a new sheriff, or random cancel. The client just wanted a change of pace. He decided to “retire” from his landscaping business. Wanted to try a 9-5 job.
After working for someone else for about 6 months, he realized he was meant to stay an entrepreneur.
However, he had shut down his site, canceled his hosting, and deleted everything.
After he asked if we’d take him back, we pulled backups, reclaimed his domain, submitted a Change of Address from his old domain to his new one (he wanted to expand services, so a new domain made sense more than the previous domain limiting it to landscaping).
You can see within just a few months, he’s back at #1, with ~100 more across the rest of page 1 of Google.
