I didn’t time or strategize any of it. I just gave without asking in return.
I met Steve and Marley years ago through Josh Forti. I was new to the ClickFunnels/Inner Circle world that the three were “famous” in.
Didn’t ask for anything. Didn’t schmooz them. Didn’t aim for attention.
Just met them, and had dinner together.
Meeting Josh before that was similar. We met through podcasting. He was more recognizable online than I was. Didn’t ask him for anything. Just gave on the podcast, reciprocated and invited him to mine I had back then.
When he was getting married I sent congratulations. We became friends enough that he kindly invited my family and I to his wedding, which we flew across the country to.
My gift? Condoms with my face on it. 😂
Few months later him and his wife flew out to Coronado to celebrate me and Hottie’s 15 year wedding anniversary. I commissioned a 6′ sand castle with her name on it, our anniversary date, and “re-proposed.”
The next weekend, FHL … where I met Steve and Marley.
