In 1997, Steve Jobs famously said, “Focusing is about saying no.”
In business, I agree. In personal life, I’ve been doing the opposite.
Too many times we say no to the little things.
They’re “little” so they couldn’t be that important, right?
But these little things tend to add up more than the big things, so I’ve started to say yes.
And so this weekend when my youngest boy asked if I could get the tabletop Christmas tree out of the garage for him so he could put it in his room in August, I said yes.
