This radio station, U92, was born 20 years ago.
19 years ago I joined it (and frequented its sister station Power 107.9).
13 years ago I left to start SEO National.
But I only left the “job” of radio, not the people. Some of the best people I know are old radio friends, and it’s a privilege to still have any ties with such the unique world that radio is.
You guys (and women) hustle. You have a special passion for an industry that is fun, but also kicks your ass. And you just keep on taking the beating. But that’s a beating that only a radio person could love and appreciate.
Thank you all of my radio friends that continue to let me drop in. Even the ones that our communication is infrequent. You’ll always be something special to me.
