What I love doing is also what pays my bills. But I also give a lot of free advice to those who ask. Marrying that passion for what I love with a willingness to help others landed me an opportunity in 2015 to be on Digital Media board of advisors at Davis Technical College.
Fast forward to this year and the college is constructing a new building for the school. And guess what? I had the chance to write my name on this fancy-schmancy steel beam that will be the last one installed in the new building.
From helping people build their businesses, I progressed to helping future generations build their education. And now, in a small way, I’m LITERALLY helping build something.
This is why you never stop doing what you started, and always help where you can without expecting anything in return.
You never know who the silent observers are that you’re helping along the way.
