I often post about the value in giving without expecting in return, but still how you end up getting rewarded in unexpected ways. The attached DM screenshot speaks to that.
This person messaged me with questions, asking if I could give my opinion on a marketing topic. Took maybe 30 seconds to GENUINELY read his message and give a reply. Was happy to do so, and that was the end.
Few hours later, $25 gift card as a thanks. $25 x 30 seconds = $50/minute x 60 minutes per hour = $3000/hour.
Bit embellished, but point stands. Giving without expecting in return pays.
