Let the kids decorate their rooms however they want.  But drip motivational things I try to share with them in my office, and throughout everywhere else in the house. Specifically area’s they’ll face when they open a door.

 Across the entry when they walk in the backdoor from school each day.

don't be average

Across the wall any time they use the bathroom.

My daughter helped me place a new one this morning where they open their bedroom door, and where they hang out with their friends.

Do Big Things.
They won’t happen overnight.
But if you quit, they won’t happen at all.
Keep going.
It’s worth it.

I know leading by example is the best example, but these small visuals on the daily can’t hurt day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year.

One day they’ll be walking through the house, in thought, motivation, or crisis and will catch themselves staring at one of these, and it will click or be the small thing they need in that moment.
