Here is the 10-point blueprint I shared that added me an extra $1,000,000 in revenue through personal branding and simply sharing everything on social media FOR FREE (like this post) that I shared when speaking on stage in Vietnam.

  1. Build a Personal Brand by Sharing Authentically
  • Talk about what matters to you (e.g., family, values, life experiences) alongside business topics.
  • People follow for your professional content but convert when they relate to you personally.
  • You don’t have to separate personal and professional content, people buy from people they trust and relate to.
  • Document your journey, don’t overthink “creating” content. Daily life, wins, lessons, all are content-worthy.
  1. Leverage Social Media to Generate Inbound Leads
  • Post regularly. Consistency increases reach and builds trust.
  • Share client success stories, value-packed insights, and genuine thoughts, this attracts qualified leads.
  • Free content builds trust and authority, people will come to you when they’re ready to buy.
  1. Give Away Everything for Free
  • Don’t hold back valuable info, people pay for implementation, speed, and trust, not just knowledge.
  • All content consumers fall into one of three groups:
    • 👉 Will DIY with your info (weren’t going to buy anyway), but now you expanded your reach and reputation
    • 👉 May refer or buy later
    • 👉 Are ready to pay now
  • All three types of content consumers are worth serving.
  1. Use DMs and Comments to Drive Leads
  • Most high-ticket leads for me came from DMs, not ads or landing pages
  • Comments and shares from your audience create “transfers of trust”, your network sells you by tagging you.
  • Be top of mind so when people ask “Who does ?” you’re the first name mentioned.
  1. Optimize Your Outreach Without Selling
  • Connect with 10 new people per day (on LinkedIn, Facebook, wherever your audience ALREADY is). That’s enough to scale reach, but not so much that it’s overwhelming.
  • Send non-salesy connection messages: “Not looking to sell, just connecting for networking opportunities.” Follow up with an intro that mixes personal story + credibility, no pitch.
  • Use light-hearted touches (say things like “blah blah blah” so they know you’re a real person) and clear expectations to stand out.
  1. Systematize Your Social Media Workflow
  • Use Trello (or similar) to save, organize, and schedule content.
  • Have a VA post and monitor messages, flagging only high-value opportunities for your time. That way you still wrote the post that you added to Trello to protect your voice, but they can now post it and field the engagement.
  • Post at optimal times, experiment and track results. For me I get way more traction in the 7 am and 7 pm hour of each day. Find your magic window.
  1. Combine SEO and Content for Lead Magnets
  • Use tools like AlsoAsked, Answer the Public, and SpyFu to find hot questions people are already asking.
  • The questions you’re tired of answering? That’s where the money is. You just take for granted your expertise. Others need those answers though.
  • Create bite-sized SEO content around those, build trust and attract inbound questions.
  1. Personal Posts Perform Better
  • Posts about your kids, travel, background, or struggles get 2x+ the engagement.
  • These deepen connection and trust, they convert better than business-only posts.
  1. Expect and Embrace Haters
  • Going viral = attention = haters. Don’t let it stop you.
  • Your vibe attracts your tribe, lean into your brand personality, don’t water it down.
  • Haters can even drive visibility and sometimes become leads if you stand your ground respectfully.
  1.  Mindset: Content Isn’t About You, It’s About Service
  • Serve your audience first, impact leads to income.
  • Focus on legacy, authenticity, and usefulness over vanity metrics.
