Headed to airport after a killer two day mastermind. Learned about scaling business by acquiring other businesses.

Comes time to head home and there’s a 30 minute delay.

They had to fix the airplane engine. Suppose that’s reasonable.

30 minute delay turns into an hour.

Then two.

Then four.

Then canceled.

Then, “Just kidding, that cancel was an accident. Give us another hour and we think we’ll have the engine repaired.”

Engine repaired, cheers, we board the flight.

Doors closed.

“Flight attendants, prepare cabin for departure.”

Wait.

Wait more.

Then the captain walks out with a clear face of what he’s about to say.

“Sorry. FAA won’t let us fly because of the early accidental cancellation. Since this flight was logged canceled, we can’t depart.”

Obviously, disappointing. But what could I have done?

It isn’t bad unless you accept it as bad.

I made the most of it and got a shit ton of work done in those 5 hours of waiting.

Got a hotel. Slept. Back at the airport now, and tomorrow is date night with hottie where I get to make out with her kid-free in Vegas.
