Hosting a 3 day SEO retreat at my lake home the last few days was truly life changing.  Not only for my  ̶g̶u̶e̶s̶t̶s̶  new friends, but for myself.

I said it would be intimate.  I said it was limited to just three rooms.

I said I would show anything asked of me how I’ve built a multi-million dollar agency without ads, emails, lists, launches, or any formal form of lead gen.

And in a world of overselling and under-delivering, I did a wild thing. I kept my word.

SEO mastermind

  • I sold no more than three rooms, and declined those that applied after.
  • I showed all my SEO processes.
  • I disclosed every tool we use.
  • I answered every question that was asked.
  • I showed real-life examples of all our automations.
  • I even offered a peek at all new things I’m integrating.

But it was so much more than SEO.

You can only learn and implement if you’re willing to be honest with yourself where you’re at.  Everyone came willing to listen and, more importantly, be vulnerable.

I have countless experiences from the Lake Mastermind that I would love to share, but don’t know where to begin. Instead, I’ll let one of the messages I received a day after the event speak to it.

“Damon, I want to thank you again. You were very transparent and it helps as I bolt this on to my business.

The group came together because of you.

As much as we learned from you, we also learned more about us and you facilitated a time where we as a group truly became a group that learned, worked, and played together.

It is rare that I have seen a group like this truly want to help each other in a short period of time.

I respect you all and thank you all for sharing your time, energy, laughter and a bit of your heart with me.”
