Hottie and I have 401ks, but also set up our kids with retirement plans as soon as they could help around the office and earn a few dollars.
The compounding interest they gain having a two to three decade head start on most of society won’t solve all their financial needs, and I don’t want it to. They can earn their own keep.
But this will give them a safety net that affords them the ultimate gift… peace of mind and breathing room as an adult, and someday parents of their own.
