Small tweak I’ve made when sending proposals that’s increased the speed of closing. Send a digital signature link AND a manual PDF. Attached is how I phrase it.

This has increased our time to receive signatures back from 3-7 days, to 1-3 days.
While I see a lot of clients get to the point and sign via DocuSign, you’d be surprised at how many others either dislike signing online or have a preference to sign offline.
I’d estimate:
- 1/2 of new clients sign virtually
- 1/4 print, scan, and email the agreement back
- 1/4 still fax
So we have an online/virtual fax number that converts received faxes to an email with a PDF attachment of the fax.
