Few weeks ago I was asked two questions that I thought they were such great questions and I keep thinking back on them.

  1. How I stay grounded while working with high-profile clients?
  2. What internal belief has shifted for me over the past decade?

It starts with family.

They’ve always been my why, which helps me draw clear lines between what matters and what doesn’t. It’s really easy to identify what you don’t want to do when you know clearly the things you do want to focus on.

I also learned 20 years ago back in my radio days that celebrities are just people.  Famous people (or high-profile clients) have everyone coming at them for things 24/7. They develop a sixth sense for who is approaching them for selfish reasons, no matter how well you think you’re masking the motive.

But… if you treat them like a normal person, they’ll reciprocate respect.

My biggest mindset shift?

Sanity > Business Growth

Money doesn’t equal happiness. It amplifies who you already are.

Once you hit a stable financial baseline, impact matters more than income.

More and more of my days lately are shifting towards prioritizing mental bandwidth, slowly aiming to take off more time to unplug and be present with my wife, kids, or just myself.

Know your why, and stay grounded before life forces you to.
