Everyone says you can’t use ClickFunnels for SEO. So, I did a test to prove them wrong.
I get why people say you can’t use CF for SEO.
1 – It was built for funnels.
Can’t blame a fish for not being able to fly like a bird. They’re built different. But everyone knows ClickFunnels can be magic for funnels.
2 – The real reason people say this is too many people only know how to do SEO if it’s the easy way.
When you have to think outside of the box is what separates cookie cutter SEOs from the experienced.
So here’s what I did…
I optimized a site using ClickFunnels classic, not CF 2.0. The new ClickFunnels has some added blog features and other SEO enhancements so I wanted to prove it’s possible to optimize a funnel “the harder way,” even with Classic.
The results?
Without fully building out the content strategy, my FunnelsSEO.com site is already on page one of Google for keywords about exactly what I was proving to test like “ClickFunnels search engine optimization.” (Don’t optin, the product isn’t ready. 😆 The SEO just worked.)
Next, I have a content strategy and dozens of blogs I’ll be rolling out, which will rocket ship the site to the top of page 1. 🚀
Since doing this experiment on the side I also had the opportunity to start doing SEO for two of Russell Brunson’s website’s on ClickFunnels 2.0.
There’s so much potential, and they continue adding more enhancements like the new dynamic sitemap feature (attached screenshot) which will help Google find your content easier.
It’s cool seeing the results of 2.0 layering in the feedback and SEO features. Pretty soon ClickFunnels will be able to go after marketshare of other platforms beyond just funnel builders. Seeing the results of my SEO experiment on CF Classic, and optimizing Russell’s personal sites on 2.0 has been revealing to deep dive on how to fully maximize the best of both worlds of Funnels + SEO.
Considering building out the experimental FunnelsSEO site as a full training that goes over exactly this, how to optimize CF for search engines.
