Today i want to give you some words of encouragement.

This comes off of me being in the middle of writing an SEO book, launching new marketing strategies, and all these things – sometimes – you need a break.

You feel burned out.

And that’s totally ok.

You don’t always have to be the next Elon Musk.

The next Mark Zuckerberg.

Take that extra mile and be great in the scope of what you want to be great at.

You don’t always need to impress anyone more than yourself.

Especially online.

As I’ve become more successful and network with higher profile people and I follow them and learn and embrace what they’re good at, I’ve noticed that behind the scenes what I’d like to call the “internet rule of half.”

They tend to make about half as much money as I previously thought.

You’re probably making more money than some of these people that you follow.

They have half as many clients on the books as they portray.

The big fancy house you see in all of their videos is really a vacation rental and their real house is, you guessed it, half as big as you think.

The “rags” phase of their dramatic rags-to-riches story is probably half as long and half as bad and half as dramatic as they put it out there to be because we feed off that type of stuff.

Don’t believe it.

Have a healthy dose of skepticism.

Especially in the online world.

Especially when it’s sunny and great weather.

Don’t believe the fancy pictures that you see everywhere.

You’re kickin’ ass. Just keep at it.

You’re where you need to be.

You’re close to where you want to be at.

Just stick to it and don’t compare yourself to other people.
