Unexpected chain of events after signing a new SEO client right before departing for the Burton European tour.
Told the client he was in good hands during travels. After he asked where we were going he offered to connect me with his friend Francois while in France.
Francois is the General Manager of French restaurant called Au Petit Riche.
Come to find out it’s a super popular, high demand restaurant. They opened at 12 noon and by 12:05 every seat was full.
Francois was amazing. He was patient with my wife, and her unfamiliarity with French cuisine, and even more so with my kids. 😂
He had fun encouraging them to try the Veal head and brain, knowing they’d shrug. Everyone had a great time in his presence.
My kids enjoyed telling him about how they were saving their French fries for dessert so they could dip them in their ice cream. He thanked them “for their recipe.”
The food was amazing. My son’s face lit up trying crème brûlée for the first time.
I tried everything Francois offered, and his team were great.
As we left he showed us their private room upstairs for high profile guests, talked of all the celebrities and presidents that have visited, and gifted us a poster celebrating their 170 YEARS!
Memories are my favorite thing to gift my family, hence the trip, and our client and his friend helped contribute wonderfully.
