Burton World Cup tour is a wrap. Last 72’ish hours:
- Flew to San Francisco.
- Brought not only wife and kids, but friends of the kids. So rented this sick ass 15 passenger van. 😅
- Saw a World Cup game, Qatar vs Switzerland.
- Called a “rich dumb fuck” for going.
- Bought some domains and turned it into a joke.
- Went to Winchester Mansion.
- Drove PCH.
- Saw another World Cup game in LA, Iran vs New Zealand.
- Thought was cool driving around Crenshaw Blvd and Rosecrans.
- Stayed in a VRBO off the beaten path. Neighborhood I wouldn’t have assumed I would be comfortable in, but was humbled again.
Everyone was nice.
One guy chilling on the curb in his go-to beat up chair, enjoying a popsicle hollers “you’re good right there,” as I was backing up the giant vehicle and trying to see if I fit in a relatively small space without overlapping the red tow curb.
As me and the family hop out, he went out of his way to tell me “that’s a nice van.”
The same van I couldn’t care less about was something of a vision to someone else, and was grateful to get a bit of a reality check.
On the way to the game, highway patrol closed off all exits and on-ramps right behind us, and we ended up sharing the entire closed off freeway with Iran team bus.
Closed one of our biggest SEO accounts while traveling.
Just got home.
Going to make out with Hottie now. 😍
